Terms and conditions of service

Last updated: 11 September 2026

1. General information

This website is operated by Intimo Quarta.

In these Terms, “we”, “our” and “Intimo Quarta” refer to the seller and operator of the website.

Through the website we provide information, content, tools and the possibility to purchase products from our online catalogue.

Full seller identification details, contact information and the information required by applicable law are available in the Legal notice section of the website.

Contact us at:

Email: info@intimoquarta.com
Telephone: +39 328 202 9073

Use of the website and submission of an order imply acceptance of these Terms and conditions, without prejudice to all mandatory provisions protecting consumers.

2. Scope and consumers

These Terms govern:

  • use of the Intimo Quarta website;
  • purchases made through the online store;
  • relations between Intimo Quarta and customers concerning products purchased through the website.

Where a customer acts for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession, they are considered a consumer and benefit from all protections provided by the Italian Consumer Code and applicable European law.

Any provision that limits mandatory consumer rights is automatically replaced by the applicable mandatory legal provisions.

3. Requirements for making a purchase

To place an order, you must have the legal capacity required to enter into a contract.

If you have not reached the age of majority, the purchase must be made by a parent, guardian or other legally authorised person.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided during the order process, including contact, billing and delivery information.

4. Products and information on the website

We endeavour to describe and display products as accurately as possible.

Images are illustrative. Shades and colours may differ slightly because of screen settings, photographic lighting or the characteristics of the materials.

Essential characteristics, sizes, colours, materials and other relevant information are shown on the relevant product page where applicable.

Customers are invited to check the characteristics and size carefully before purchase and to use any size guides available on the website.

5. Product availability

Availability shown on the website is updated on the basis of information in our systems.

In exceptional cases, a product may become unavailable after an order has been placed, for example because of simultaneous purchases, inventory errors or technical issues.

If an ordered product is unavailable, we will inform the customer without undue delay.

If we cannot supply the purchased product, any amount already paid for that product will be refunded using the payment method used, unless otherwise agreed with the customer.

We will not replace a product with another product without the customer's consent.

6. Prices

Prices shown on the website are expressed in the currency indicated for the selected market and, where applicable, include VAT.

Shipping charges and any other applicable costs are shown before the order is completed.

The applicable price is the price displayed to the customer before the order is submitted, except in the case of obvious and recognisable errors.

If there is a clear material error in the price or product information, we will contact the customer before proceeding. The customer may confirm the purchase on the corrected terms or cancel it and receive a refund of any amounts already paid.

7. Discounts and promotions

Discounts, promotional codes, offers and commercial benefits are subject to the conditions stated for the relevant initiative.

Unless otherwise stated, discounts and promotions may be subject to minimum thresholds, validity periods, excluded products or combination rules.

A product purchased on sale or as part of a promotion retains the rights provided by applicable law, including, where the relevant conditions are met, the right of withdrawal and the legal guarantee of conformity.

8. Order procedure

Before submitting the order, the customer can check the selected products, quantities, prices, discounts, delivery charges and total amount.

The customer can correct any errors before completing the purchase.

Submitting the order constitutes a request to purchase the selected products under the conditions shown at checkout.

After receiving the order, an electronic communication containing the purchase information is sent to the address provided by the customer.

The contract is considered concluded when the order is accepted by Intimo Quarta and the relevant confirmation is sent to the customer, without prejudice to cases of failed payment, subsequent unavailability, manifest error or another legitimate reason preventing performance of the order.

Order documentation is retained in our systems in accordance with applicable law.

9. Payments

The payment methods actually available are displayed at checkout and may vary depending on the country, order amount or other technical and commercial conditions.

The customer must use only payment instruments they are authorised to use.

For electronic payments, data may be processed directly by payment service providers under their own terms and privacy notices.

Intimo Quarta does not retain full payment card details where these are managed directly by payment service providers.

10. Shipping and delivery

We deliver to the countries and geographical areas enabled on our online store.

Costs, free-shipping thresholds, methods and applicable conditions are set out in the Shipping policy and shown at checkout before the order is completed.

Any delivery times indicated are estimates unless a binding deadline is expressly agreed.

Delivery is made to the address provided by the customer during the order process.

The customer is responsible for providing a complete and correct address and for promptly notifying us of any errors.

The risk of loss of or damage to the products passes to the consumer when the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods, except where the law provides otherwise. Under EU rules, where transport is arranged by the seller, the risk normally remains with the seller until such possession occurs.

11. Failure to deliver

If delivery does not take place within the expected time, please contact us.

The rights and remedies provided by applicable law in the event of delay or failure to deliver will apply.

Where required by law, the consumer retains the right to set an appropriate additional period for delivery and subsequently exercise the available remedies if that period is not met.

12. Right of withdrawal

Consumers purchasing online have, except where a statutory exception applies, the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason.

Procedures, deadlines, return address, refunds and exceptions are described in detail in our “Returns and refunds” policy and in the model withdrawal form available on the website.

Nothing in these Terms limits the right of withdrawal granted by applicable law.

13. Sealed products and hygiene reasons

The fact that an item is underwear does not automatically exclude the right of withdrawal.

For sealed goods that, for reasons of health protection or hygiene, are not suitable for return once opened, the specific statutory exception may apply.

Where that exception concerns a particular product, the customer is informed before purchase.

For further details, see the Returns and refunds policy.

14. Legal guarantee of conformity

Products sold to consumers are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided by the Italian Consumer Code.

The legal guarantee is separate from any commercial guarantee offered by the manufacturer.

In the event of a lack of conformity, the consumer is entitled to the remedies provided by law, which may include, subject to the conditions and hierarchy established by applicable law, repair, replacement, price reduction or termination of the contract.

Remedies due under the legal guarantee are provided free of charge to the consumer where required by law.

For new goods purchased by a consumer, legal protection is provided for at least two years from delivery.

For assistance, contact info@intimoquarta.com.

15. Complaints and assistance

For questions concerning orders, products, deliveries, returns or complaints, contact us:

Email: info@intimoquarta.com
Telephone: +39 328 202 9073

We will seek to handle each request within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.

16. Customer accounts

Where the website allows an account to be created, the customer is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for activities carried out through the account, except for unauthorised use not attributable to the customer.

The customer must inform us promptly if they believe their account has been used without authorisation.

We may suspend an account used fraudulently, unlawfully or in breach of these Terms, in accordance with applicable law.

17. Proper use of the website

The website may not be used for unlawful purposes or for activities that could compromise the security, operation or integrity of the service.

In particular, users must not deliberately introduce viruses, malware or other harmful elements, attempt unauthorised access or use the website to infringe third-party rights.

Nothing in this section may be interpreted as limiting rights granted by law to consumers.

18. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, texts, photographs, graphics, logos, distinctive elements and original content on the website are owned by Intimo Quarta or used on the basis of rights, licences or authorisations from their respective owners.

Unauthorised reproduction, distribution or commercial use of website content is prohibited, except where permitted by law.

Trademarks of manufacturers and brands featured in the catalogue belong to their respective owners.

19. Third-party links and services

The website may contain links to or integrations with services supplied by third parties, for example payment, shipping, review, communication or social-network services.

When a customer uses a third-party service, the relevant provider's terms and notices may also apply.

Intimo Quarta is not responsible for content or services independently supplied by third parties, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

20. Website operation

We seek to ensure the availability and proper functioning of the online store, but we cannot guarantee that the service will always be available without interruption.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, actions by technology providers or events outside our reasonable control.

Such circumstances do not limit rights already acquired by customers in relation to completed orders.

21. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

In particular, no provision limits consumers' mandatory rights relating to non-conforming products, damage attributable to the seller, withdrawal or other rights recognised by law.

For customers acting in a professional or business capacity, different liability rules may apply within the limits permitted by law.

22. Events outside our reasonable control

Within the limits permitted by law, we are not responsible for delays in performance caused by unforeseeable events or events otherwise outside our reasonable control.

In such circumstances, we will take reasonable steps to limit the consequences and resume performance.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected, including any rights concerning non-delivery or reimbursement of amounts paid.

23. Privacy

Personal data are processed in accordance with applicable law and the Privacy Policy published on the website.

For more information about data processing, cookies and data subject rights, please see the Privacy Policy and the customer privacy settings.

24. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect regulatory, technical, organisational or commercial changes.

The version applicable to an order is the version in force when the relevant contract is concluded.

Subsequent changes do not retroactively affect rights already acquired by the customer.

The date of the latest update is stated at the beginning of this document.

25. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory rights granted to consumers by Italian and European law and, where applicable, by the mandatory provisions of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence.

For customers who are not consumers, the Court of Lecce shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute concerning the interpretation, performance, validity, effectiveness or termination of the contract, unless otherwise provided by mandatory law.

For consumer customers, territorial jurisdiction is determined by the mandatory rules applicable to consumer protection.

26. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be void, ineffective or unenforceable, this will not, where permitted by law, affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

The affected provision will be interpreted or replaced to the extent necessary to make it compatible with applicable law.
